Intel Pentium processor at its heart, the Ovation® Controller
allows rapidly advancing microprocessor technology to be easily
integrated into the system. An investment in Ovation®
software is protected through the use of a PC-compatible,
real-time operating system that provides full 32-bit, preemptive
multi-tasking.
The Ovation® Controller has the capability to originate
up to 16,000 points - depending on the latest RAM and processing
power available in the industry.
The Ovation® Controller executes simple or complex modulating
and sequential control strategies, performs data acquisition
functions, and interfaces to the Ovation®
Network and I/O
sub-systems. Having a standard PC architecture and passive
PCI/ISA bus interface, the Controller is compatible for plug
and play operation with other standard PC products.
