The Ovation® Report Server for Solaris-based systems allows users to get the information
they need in a format they want by preparing printed reports
of on-line activity in the Ovation® system. The Report
Server provides easy-to-use report definition, flexible report
generation, and printer management.
Flexibility in design allows the Report Server to be supplied
with an independent workstation when large amounts of data
are to be processed and stored, or as a package combined with
the Ovation®
Historian, Operator
Workstation, or Engineer
Workstation.
The report subsystem provides the framework for defining
and generating various types of system reports including:
- Temporal Reports — Report execution scheduled
in absolute time or periodic intervals
- Event Reports — Summarize activity of user-defined
data which occurs during an event triggered by one or more
highway conditions
- Trip Reports — Provide information prior to
and following a plant trip
- Operator-Requested Reports — Provide information
based on an operator's request
- Calculated Reports — Provide month-to-date
information processing data
