Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions offers a comprehensive package
of repair and exchange services designed to accommodate the
varying needs and delivery requirements of all of our customers.
In addition to our traditional, high-quality testing, repair
and inspection services, we offer a number of exciting exchange
options, and even advance replacement for emergency situations.
Repair and exchange services are always performed to exacting
Quality Assurance standards by our staff of highly skilled,
trained technicians--all located at our world-class manufacturing
facility in O'Hara Township, Pennsylvania. Customers can choose
the level of service, delivery terms and pricing that best
suit their needs. Four levels of repair and exchange service
are currently available.
Standard Repair and Return
Under this traditional scenario, customers return items for
service to us for inspection, test, and repair. It is our
objective to service and return all company-manufactured items
within 30 days of receipt. To help us meet this objective,
we may, in some cases, choose to provide an exchange rather
than service the item returned by the customer. Customers
always have the option, however, of stipulating that their
own item be returned, and not exchanged. All returned items
must be marked with a pre-assigned Return Authorization number.
24-Hour Exchange
The 24-hour exchange option is designed to address customer
needs in the event of an emergency or other critical situation.
A replacement item will be shipped within 24 hours of receiving
the part requiring service. Returned items must be marked
with a pre-assigned Return Authorization number. This level
of service can be provided for all items which we have in
stock.
Advance Replacement
Taking response time to a new level, this option allows for
critical situations where you must have a replacement item
dispatched immediately. Once you call for this service and
your purchase order or credit card is received, a refurbished
part, if available, will be shipped to you. You will be responsible
to ship your serviceable item back to us within thirty days
of authorization of this service. Returned items must be marked
with a pre-assigned Return Authorization number. We will then
keep your item requiring service in exchange for the replacement
part sent to you.
