Description
This four-day course is designed to give students a detailed understanding of EDS™. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to configure an EDS server to collect point data from an existing Ovation system. An EDS client will be properly configured and the applications of the EDS station will be covered extensively. This course is designed for anyone who will be using or managing the EDS.

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, using the reference material provided, the student will be able to:

1. Illustrate the functions of the EDS system and architecture
2. Explain how an EDS server is loaded and configured
3. Configure an EDS client to communicate with an existing EDS
4. Manage the data storage of the EDS
5. Demonstrate how to view and interpret error messages
6. Build reports using the EDS Report Builder
7. Build custom graphics using the EDS Graphics Builder
