Description
The WEStation operator console is the interface between operating personnel and plant processes. This course includes instruction on how to use the WDPF WEStation keyboard, CRT, and peripherals to monitor and control process applications. Students will also be taught to use the WDPF Open Windows menu environment to display and manipulate process diagrams, alarms, trends, and more.

Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Display process diagrams
  2. Review and acknowledge system alarms
  3. Obtain and edit process information
  4. Create live and historical trends
  5. Review and interpret problem conditions in the WDPF database
